Day 1 - Alone in LA

I did it. I did the trip that I've been wanting to do since I was 7 years old. I held this dream close to my heart and each day I worked to get closer to achieving my dream, even though achieving my dream meant being alone in LA.

My love for acting, modelling and music has grow so much over my 21 years of life. I made the decision at 7 years old that one day I would make it to LA to continue following my dreams, because unfortunately in Perth Western Australia, there are not many opportunities to grow in the industry. So on Monday 1st August at 11:55pm I boarded a flight to LA in hopes to finally make my dreams a reality. I left all my friends and family behind in Aus and took this huge step by myself. After 2 layovers, a long walk through LA with my luggage in search of a new sim card that works in LA (Unfortunately I found out in San Francisco that my mobile company doesn't cover outside of Aus) I made it to West Hollywood for the first Airbnb of my trip. Though there were lots of tears and anxiety during my flights, I'm here.

In the one place that I hope will finally make my dreams a reality.
